CA. P R Ramesh is a distinguished Chartered Accountant and corporate governance leader with over four decades of professional experience. As the former Chairman of Deloitte India and a former member of the Deloitte Global Board, he brings deep expertise in audit, accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory affairs. A Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), he has made significant contributions to India's regulatory and accounting landscape through his association with SEBI, the Reserve Bank of India, IRDA, the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, and the Government of India on matters relating to accounting standards, corporate governance, IFRS convergence, and regulatory reform.

He currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several marquee listed and unlisted companies, including Air India, Cipla, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, ITC Hotels, Larsen & Toubro, Nestle India, and Cyient, among others. A Past President of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry and an active member of CII's Committee on Regulatory Affairs and Governance, CA.
